Wasted on Orchard

Me back! From Singapore! Ohkay, sebenernya ini cultural trip biar lebih up-close and personal ama SG yang biasanya cuma buat transit doang tapi karena ada gue akhirnya metamorfosis jadi shopping trip -_- Of course, we did the usual touristy take-a-photo-everywhere thing and went on our merry way to every damn mall that existed along Orchard Road and beyond. Rutinitas di sana is along the lines of: bangun - breakfast di hotel - jalan sampe kaki jadi puzzle - balik naek taxi - afternoon walk along Orchard - beli makan di Lucky Plaza - evening walk/coffee and cigarettes/lari ke 7-11 for a quick snack - tidur.

Me shopping trips got me quite a lot of things~ Finally got my iPod :D I bought the 32GB one karena bokap gue bilang 8GB tanggung and here we are~ Got some clothes from Topman: sweater and a cap, a pair of white leather shoes yang aslinya gue ga mau karena kemahalan tapi malah dibeliin ama bokap pas ngikut dia shoe-shopping di Orchard. And who am I to reject rejeki?

Maklum, pertama kali liat patung keluar air.

With my influence, akhirnya semuanya ikutan shopping trip juga. Adek gue ikut-ikutan beli iPod tapi she only has enough cash for the Shuffle yang sizenya seuprit itu. She plans on upgrading to a Nano yang sizenya bigger tapi tetep segede upil gajah.  Nyokap gue bought countless tees and even more countless things that is S$10 for 3. Bokap gue beli perfume, jersey Singapore yang oh-so mehi @S$75 and two pairs of leather shoes: one that has leather soles/classic and one that is apparently fireproof. Dibakar pake korek api seems to have no effect. Gue pengen nyoba taroh di kompor buat ngetes tapi takut ditendang ke Somalia.

Total waktu disana 6 hari, and God knows how much money we spent there. I mean come on, nyampe di Changi aja we spent S$50 on chocolates (justified by the fact that they're mind-numbingly delicious) and S$100 on books (!) We even bought an extra bag just to store our crap saking banyaknya. Itupun juga susah ditutupnya. And that's how we roll.

Welp, think that's all of my escapades. Looking forward buat shopping trip family outing ke luar negeri lagi :D See ya later~

BB all around!

Soo bokap gue akhirnya mengikuti perkembangan teknologi juga dan beli BB. Sebenernya itu BB bekas yang casingnya busuk tapi diganti warna item. Sejelek-jeleknya casing itu BB masih lebih bagus dari BB pertama gu yang made in china T.T Sebenernya bokap gue gaptek, tapi mau nyoba-nyoba gitu (lha temennya pada pake BB semua ._.) 

Warnanya item. Bayangin aja sendiri.

Bokap gue pernah ngebawa gue ke kantornya buat liat katanya temennya bawa BB selundupan. Pas temennya dateng gue liat kan, eh ternyata itu palsu dan mereka semua gatau perbedaannya -_- trackball aja gada -.-


Nyokap gue sendiri udah tertarik make BB, modelnya sih Onyx item. Nyokap sih ngerti-ngerti aja makenya, tapi sekarang dia tertarik ama Onyx2. Kalo jadi beli, yang sekarang mau dijual ke temennya karena Jav temennya kebakar keyboardnya (!)

Sejujurnya gue gatau apa yang beda kalo layarnya mati.

Gue sendiri masih make Storm2 gue yang sampe sekarang ga pernah jatoh. Pernahnya kepentok. Ama penyet di kantong celana. Udah itu doang. Mama jangan marah :) Gue inget pertama kali gue lagi ngidam tuh HP terus Onyx gue ketuker ama Storm. Ih gue ternyata punya superpower yee :P

Gue inget pertama kali gue dapet itu BB malem-malem. Gue gatau cara buka tutup batrenya. Akhirnya nyoba konsultasi buku panduan. Buku panduannya ternyata punya 8320. Ada gambar trackballnya. My god. Abal banget boxnya. Terus katanya congkel aja. Kuku gue hampir patah tapi kebuka. Masukin sim card. Pencet tombol on. Nyala. Hore. Terus mati. Kampret. Belom dicharge. Pagi-pagi cabut. Nyoba pake pensil buat menu. Gamau. Dipaksain. Pensil patah. Nyerah. Make jari. Keyboardnya najjong. Nyerah. Masukin tas. Sekolah.

Jadi itu BB berarti HP gue yang entah keberapa (gue udah lupa ngitung) tapi sekarang PW bet makenya. Di sekolah gada yang make Storm2. Bangga meski batrenya lebih boros dari mobil gue. And how bout u?  Mengikuti tren BB kah?

Hello December, Hello Exams

Soo today's december! Also in this month is the end-of-semester exams. Fook. Belom seperempat bulan aja jadwal udah acak adul gini. Fortunately, abis ulangan dan balah-balahnya selesai ada liburlaah. Gue sih sepertinya ke Singapore buat shopping trip/end of year holiday. Tapi gue disana seminggu. Gue mau ngapain coba? Ke Universal mahal, mending ke dufan aja sono :P Soo selama minggu ini mungkin gue ga bisa on the computer dulu. Banyak sih project gue yang telantar such as photography (dan dA) yang ga keurus karena abis ide dan perlu lensa. Gue sih pengennya ke Europe gitu kalo liburan soalnya lebih fotogenik tapi gue ga bakal bisa makan saking mahalnya T.T So, mungkin gue bisa aja lanjutin itu nantii~ Yang penting ulangan gue dan remednya kelar semua~

JFW 2010-2011

OMFG this is the event I've been waiting for since grade 9!! Gue dateng kesitu hari Minggu dengan penuh perjuangan (tears and nervous breakdowns) andd finally gue sampe disana 3 menit sebelom Bubble Girl mulai! Aduh gile bokk rebet banget guwee! Soo me und Shabin Audy nonton Grazia yang isinya runway exclusive and some ready-to-wear buatan celebritaay gitu such as Ina Thomas, Daniel Mananta and etc. Abis itu ada break 4 hours maybe? Kita makan kenyang gile gendut lagi guee! At 7pm adalah OSCAR LAWALATA!!! OMG his fabrics dipake Chanel, Donna Karan, and entah apaan gilla! Collectionnya sih ready to wear semua!! Okayy that's all forr todayy :D See ya!

OFFLINE UNTIL NEXT WEEK

Hey guys! As what the title said, gue bakal ada LDKS besok (secara gue OSIS.....dance) sampe Sabtu sore. Tempatnya sih somewhere in Bogor, dan kita berangkat Jumat subuh, which, the previous night will be spent in tha school. Yang ikut sih lumayan banyak, ada 60 something or more ditambah panitia. There will be no cellphones and other electronics, which means gue gak bisa foto/BBM/update keadaan gue. Well, daripada kamera gue kepentok ato BB gue benyek dan gue dikirim ke RSJ di Latvia sana mendingan gak usah sih :p Sistemnya sih sama ama MBS, cuma tetep aja, it's gonna be fun (we make it fun!) and yang penting tetep experiencenya :D


Oooh by the way, gue kemaren lomba looh. Gue dikirim ke SMAN 6 Pamulang sebagai salah satu perwakilan PJ buat debate B. Inggris. Well, kita sih enggak maju ke tingkat provinsi, tapi dalam debatenya gue, tim gue menang dan gue best speaker looh :D Mungkin karena gue ngomongnya agak sadis-an dikit dari biasanya sih haha :D Soo tetep aja sih kita dapet sertifikat dan yang penting ya experience doong!

Octoberia: Exams, Shades, Cellphones, and Batagors

Hey how ya doin' peeps? I know, I know, everyone schedule is as hectic as shit right now. For instance, besok gue UTS, minggu depannya praktek, tanggal 19 lomba B. Inggris, dan tanggal 21 LDKS. What's an ordinary highschooler to do? Take a vacation of course! #nyarimati


Yesterday gue ke Bandung buat refreshing sekalian karena me parents ada acara di sono. Soon acara itu berubah jadi wisata kuliner/shopping trip/baby-sitting. Gue masih kul-kul aja makan waffle + maple syrup pagi-pagi pas yang lainnya makan buku ngapalin rumus. Gue sih ga sok pinter ya, cuma kalo ngeliat buku pelajaran yang kalo dipake tawuran bisa bikin geger otak aja gue udah mules -_-


Soo, hari ini gue keliling FO and distros nyari baju for Novembahh. Gue beli: 

• Jacket warna beige yang OMG murahnya @150 rebu
• T-shirt yang sedikit vulgar @89 rebu
• Long-sleeve tee with an awesome print @96 rebu
• Suspenders motif XOXO @195 rebu (!)
• Ray-Ban bulet semi-Gaga @125 rebu

BTW, sepertinya I spent too much this month, terutama karena uangnya dari nyokap. Gue hari Senen aja udah dikasih BB, now this. I think I owe her at least $500. If you're wondering, gue dapet BB Storm2. Aslinya Onyx, tapi kurirnya salah kirim, dan kebetulan gue lagi ngidam Storm2. Sepertinya gue ajaib nih :D #imbisil (kalo PIN tanya aja lewat DM/message FB)

Keyboardnya bikin tekanan batin. Sumpah.

Hello 15!

Hahah today's me birthday peoples! I'd stay up until midnight and then the posts are coming in at then. Gilla ya pada tetep bangun sampe malem/pagi buta buat ngucapin happy birthday ke gue ini :') entah itu ato pada insomnia semua -__-; Anywhoo gue jam 3 tadi ke mcd ama erv dan audy dan kita bergosip ria setelah entah berapa abad gak ketemu haha. Tadi shabin ada cuman dateng bentar doang huhu. Gue sih kado dikasih flip-flops floral Marks&Spencer dari Ervan (price tag lupa dicopot dodol :P) daan...

Hahah today was fun :D Hadiah gue yang lain sih mungkin ada mentahnya doang hihi ama kamera dari bokap gue tapi mungkin gue mo beli lensa lagi waheyy! Mungkin diet gue gagal karena gue hari ini makan blueberry cheesecake + herbal drink + lots of pizza yang (kebetulan) batas pengambilan kuponnya hari ini. Mungkin ini hadiah dari Tuhan YME diatas sanaa beserta seluruh kehidupan gue selama ini. Thank you. I really appreciate it :) Diet sih gpp ya royal dikit hari ultah gitchuu :P

IT'S NEW YORK FASHION WEEK!! Styles are coming in and out goes the old crap! Hmhm I think that faux fur is totally in for fall this year, especially vests. My new formula: fur vest + leopard print tops + Bronze-colored pants + falling leaves backdrop= HAWT

Jakarta Fashion Week is still oneandahalf months to go, which leaves me free to design somethin' to wear :D Still trying to find the right fabric for the blouse though :s

Moving on to the main topic, gue baru nyadar bahwa gue itu aneh, absurd, different, dan berbagai hal lainnya *itu pada tau dari dulu kali -__-* Jadi gue itu yang paling ajaib dari temen-temen gue karena emang gue gak bener dari sananya kali yah? -,- Oke yasudahlah gue tulis aja keunikan, kebejatan, dan kebodohan gue ini.

1. Sok-sok perfectionist: Ngukur ke milimeter paling deket, garis harus lurus, lingkaran mesti bulet, gambar semirip-mirip aslinya sampe gak mirip, dll, tapi sering lupa naroh barang.
2. Sok-sok hygienic: Bersiin apapun dari kamera sampe tembok kamar mandi sampe debu gak berani nempel, tapi buang sampah sembarangan.
3. Sok-sok English: Sering nyampur bahasa Inggris kalo ngomong/ngoong Inggris beneran tapi gak pernah nyatet tuh pelajaran.
4. Sok-sok diet: Sering bacot tentang kalori makanan/kejahatan karbohidrat tapi makan minum kek onta lagi puasa: Karbohidrat beneran jahat!! On a side note, gue ngurang 7 KG selama puasa :D
5. Gak ada apa-apa mendadak joget: Udah terima aja deh -_-;
6. Buku serba-serbi isinya kalo gak gambar sepatu (heels, wedges), baju (dress and the likes), pokoknya yang bukan fashion cowok deh, isinya puisi/kata-kata gak jelas dalam bahasa Inggris: Hey I was bored :P
7. Kalo didiemin bisa ngebikin orang lain gila: Aduh yaoloh capernya :P
8. Sebenernya lebih cocok jadi designer/entertainer daripada karir yang normal: Ya gue menggila menggelora gini -_-"

Ya gitulah gue ini haha. Moga-moga bisa famous someday later deh :D

balada tete

Jadi hari ini gue belajar biologi beserta balah-balahnya, dan materinya hari ini tentang virus. Okeh, gue sih emang gak terlalu ngerti-ngerti amat, cuma yasutra mau apa lagi -__- In the last few minutes, dibagiin selembar kertas. Kita disuruh nyariin hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan bab itu, dan untungnya itu di caps-lock :D Nah, akhirnya ada satu kata yang aneh binti ajaib tapi caps-lock yaitu *jeng jeng jeng* TETELO.


Apa-apaan tuh TETELO?  Gue nanya ke guru dan itu beneran ada, dan itu penyakit ayam. Duh kenapa namanya harus kek gitu sih? Emang ayam lo ada tetenya? Ih ngaco deh yang buat nama. So, I wondered out loud, "Ih, TETELO gak ada dibuku deh." 


Terjadilah sahut-sahutan of epic proportions akhirnya.


"Coba cari lagi deh, masa TETELO gak ada?"
"Eh eh ada TETELO tuh, di stabilo gih"
"Beneran nih, di buku gak ada TETELO"

Yaoloh kok jadi ngomongin tete orang sih? Emang salah apa tetenya? Apakah tete itu ada radiasi? Ayam deket rumah gue gak ada tetenya nih, berarti dia gak kena penyakit TETELO. Jadi apakah TETELO menumbuhkan tete di ayam? Kenapa hubungannya ama tete? Apakah penemunya punya fetish ama tete? Oh god this is so stupid. So I did whatever best thing I could do: LOL.


Oh god gue keinget lagi nih, BRB laughing my ass off.

Early Birthday Present!!

Soo gue hari ini mojrot ke Mall Ambassador hari ini, dan akhirnya agak-agak shopping spree deh. Nyoksi Boksi pada beli HP gitu, C3 ama LG apaa gitu gue lupa tipenya. Nah, abis itu bokap gue ama gue iseng nanya-nanya harga kamera kan, dan ternyata di toko itu lagi ada promo EOS 1000D 4.5 juta gratis memori 2GB ama tripod. 
Yasutra daripada di tempat laen 4 juta cuma dapet bodi doang langsunglah terpakai kartu mahakuasa yaitu credit card -,- Karena emang gue masih pemula dibeliin juga tasnya. Tasnya agak jumbo dibandingin tas kamera gue yang lain, tapi muat lensa dan lalalanya. Harganya agak jumbo juga sih, 400something ribu. Gue tuh pertama-tama masih gak enak gitu ama bokap, cuma dia bilang ini hadiah ultah gue, which is 3 weeks from now. Akhirnya gue happy-happy smile-smile deh sampe sekarang :D

Sampe rumah, gue baca instructions/manual book dan menurutnya, di Amerika ini kamera dipanggil EOS Rebel XS. Kayaknya orang Jepang sok-English ngasih judul, masa kamera dikasih nama kek judul game gitu. Apa jangan-jangan di sana kameranya jadi Transformer punk-harajuku gitu?


Edit: Di Jepang namanya KISS XS ato apalah. Tetep aneh sih, masa kamera jadi robot make facepaint gitu sih?

Countdown to 15th September!

Gak ada ujan, gak ada angin (adanya angin AC), sodara-sodara, nyokap gue nanyain apa yang gue mau buat me birthday yang masih nun jauh di mato itu. Haha gue sendiri belom mikirin tentang itu sampe tadi pagi, maklum yang ada di otak gue adalah Fashion Week 2010 November nanti dan logarithm laknat buat ulangan Senen nanti. Lah yang pinter aja pada bingung gimana gue yang tolol gini T.T Okay we're getting off-topic -__- jadi gue dikasih beberapa pilihan buat hadiah itu,  and I need some help considering the choice!

Option 1: Camera

Gue sekarang punya 2 kamera, tapi semuanya masih make film. Agak-agak primitif gitu deh. Kamera gue yang pertama adalah Asahi Pentax Spotmatic SP 2 dibeli taon '65, jadi emang vintage asli deh :D Itu kamera udah turun temurun 3 generasi, dari kakek gue yang beli lengkap beserta lensa-lensanya terus ke oom gue dan akhirnya gue deh! Kondisinya masih bagus, cuman lecet catnya doang.

Yang kedua adalah Canon EOS 888. Ceritanya agak unik yang ini, soalnya gue nemunya di gudang -__- Gudang gue emang banyak barangnya haha (nemu iPod 5th Gen looh) Still in mint condition, bought in '94 (I know, I know, kamera gue lebih tua daripada gue)

Jadi katanya gue kalo mau bakal dibeliin yang digital. Kalo bokap gue pengennya yang Canon 1000D itu.

Kalo gue sendiri pengennya Lomo Diana Mini ato Polaroid.

Option 2: Laptop

As much as I want one, gue udah punya dan gue udah PW ama laptop gue ini. Bersejarah gituu. Jadi mungkin enggak deh.

Option Gue Sendiri: SHOPPING SPREE!

Berhubung nanti Fashion Week itu acara penting (ada paparazzi! must resist caper-joget Gaga!) gue otomatis bajunya flashy, snazzy, and overall stylish dong. Jadi mendingan gue shop till you drop aja biar bajunya at least presentable kalo ada yang motret gue :P

Lumayan lah kalo ada duit cash buat pegangan, jadi kalo pergi/mendadak kenapa-napa bisa tenang-tenang happy gitu deh :P
